Among all the Beaconhouse branches the Satellite Town chapter has been a pioneer in introducing the housing system.

All the students of the school are divided in four houses represented by four different colours namely : RED , YELLOW , GREEN and BLUE . All the members of a house are answerable to the house captain who is chosen out of them through elections. All houses are given equal credits in all forms. Every student wears a house badge to represent his/her house. In the beginning of the year all houses are given a 1000 points, and then they increase or may decrease as to the behavior of the students and achievements of the house as a whole. At the end of the year the house with most points gets a prize.

This system has been introduced to promote discipline and a sense of competitiveness, which surely has been effective.
